Street Rod 2: The next generation
Description
The goal of the game is to become the leader of the car gang. To achieve this, you must defeat individual members of the gang, and ultimately, the King himself. The most effective way to get rid of opponents is to win a race where the stakes are high - the loser hands over their car to the winner. You have free rein, $1200 in cash, and a newspaper. In the newspaper, you'll find advertisements for spare parts and used cars for sale.
At the beginning, you can only afford to buy an old clunker. However, after a few minor modifications, you can already win races. These modifications include lowering the roof and removing the bumpers. You can also tune the engine, which will increase the maximum speed a bit.
From the garage, you can go in three directions:
- to the gas station,
- to the evening race (once a week on Wednesdays), and
- to the daily race.
In the daily race, you have the option to choose:
- a short route race,
- a long route race, or
- a race in the aqueduct.
After winning several races and saving money, you can do a complete overhaul. You can replace almost everything: from the engine to the muffler. It's good to invest in an automatic transmission. This will make it easier to control the vehicle. It's important to make sure that the parts you buy fit the car.
Remember that your garage can't hold more than 16 cars. So, there's no point in collecting junk that also needs repairs. It's best to save up some money and buy a better car, and then invest in it and wait for the ultimate opponent - the King.
